Give & Serve

At Calvary, mission and outreach is a natural part of who we are—helping people beyond ourselves, and alleviating suffering and injustice to improve the conditions of others in the name of Christ. We are passionate about showing Christ’s light and love through our own action and commitment, and through missions, we live out our faith by serving others both locally and globally.

At Calvary, we extend the reach of our support across our state, our country and overseas. We serve with vision, purpose, and resources to create opportunities for kids, youth, and adults to get involved in a hands-on way. In other words, we don’t just write checks, as critical as financial resources are… we truly get to know the people we are serving and the causes we are supporting.  Get involved in mission and outreach at Calvary.

How to get involved in missions at Calvary

Serve hands-on with ministries led by our own congregation or held within the walls of our building.

Serve hands-on with local partnerships in our city and community.

Help raise awareness and financial gifts for issues related to social justice and equality in our city, country, and world.

Serve by taking a short-term mission trip.

Give financially.

Serving with Others

How we partner with those in our city and in the world, we invite you to explore the Mission Partners and Global Mission Support. We are grateful to partner with others in this meaningful work of caring for our city and our world. Explore more about who we work with and the great work we get to join them in.

American Baptist Mission Offerings

October - World Mission Offering

Dear Calvary family and friends,

Throughout the month of October, we are receiving the American Baptist International Ministries’ World Mission Offering (WMO). Through the WMO, we join with other congregations to come together for a time of awareness, advocacy, and action for global mission as we celebrate and support the ministries that God is using to transform the world. For the 2020 World Mission Offering, International Ministries (IM) is highlighting the Ministry Priorities of Discipleship, Theological Education, Peace and Justice, Education, Health and Wellness, and Economic Development. While these represent only a fraction of IM’s ministries, they provide a window into what God is doing worldwide through our 125 global servants, 900+ volunteers, home staff, and 250+ international partners.
