The Youth Ministry at Calvary provides an environment for our youth where they can connect and build community together.
As our youth learn and grow at Calvary, they are encouraged to reflect on how their own stories of faith and life make sense within their own Christianity and personal journeys. We are passionate about allowing space for our youth to experience and tell their own stories in an environment of support and close community.
American Baptist Youth (ABY)
Serves grades 6-12
At ABY, students gather for fellowship, service outings, special events, retreats, and interactive lessons connecting faith, school, family, extracurricular activities, and choices within all facets of life. It is a supportive, comfortable and safe place where questions are encouraged and life experience is validated. ABY also plans, and goes on, overnight retreats and service trips throughout the year, building the students’ sense of selflessness and compassion, and helping them experience the true joy of helping someone else in need.
Calvary’s youth leaders help our youth address all aspects of life, ranging from the greatest joys to the deepest challenges. All leaders are trained in class facilitation and Calvary’s framework of safety, and are fully background checked. These are passionate adults who feel called to serve in youth ministry, and they believe in our students’ holistic development in faith and life skills.
We also offer many music programs for youth. See our youth music ministry offerings.
