Tell us about something that makes you happy.
I love to daydream and “vision board” about places I would like to travel. I am especially happy when researching and putting together ideas about beautiful places around the world.

What is a life experience that you're grateful for?
I am especially grateful for difficult times in my past, because those are often the moments where I have learned and grown the most.

What's one of your favorite meals?
I love vegetarian green chili and anything smothered in green chili. I also love Indian food, especially saag paneer and aloo gobi. Yes, I like everything outrageously spicy!

What is something people get wrong about you?
Usually my age! I have often been told that I look much younger than I am.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself.
I am fluent in Portuguese.

What drew you to Calvary?
I was searching for a place where I felt my gifts and talents could do the most good for the community that I live in and love. I feel that part of my purpose in life is helping others, and the Church Business Administrator role is a meaningful way to use my math skills, love of problem solving, and analytical mindset in service to the community. I also strive to be authentic and inclusive in both my actions and my work, which aligns deeply with the heart of Calvary.

What part of your work are you most excited about?
Because both the Church Business Administrator position and my time at Calvary are new, everything is a learning experience right now! Although there is a lot to learn, I am loving the opportunity to grow and discover something new every day.

What’s a simple joy you never outgrew?
Reading has always been one of my simplest, and greatest, joys. I love curling up with a book and getting completely lost in it.

What’s one thing you appreciate about this season of life?
This season of life has brought a lot of change and many new beginnings—some difficult and some deeply meaningful. Through all of it, I am growing and discovering that I am braver than I once believed.
