Sustaining Stewards Calvary's ministries thrive through the generosity of Sustaining Stewards. Sustaining Stewards are the cornerstone of Calvary’s success, ensuring that Calvary’s ministries continue to grow and thrive. Sustaining Stewards support worship & music, pastoral care, faith formation & small groups, missions & advocacy, children & youth programs, fun & fellowship events, staff, our building & grounds, and everything else that makes Calvary your church home. A Sustaining Steward is anyone who gives to Calvary consistently each year—whether by one larger annual gift or recurring donations weekly, monthly, or quarterly throughout the year. In previous years, the accounting office used the financial information on your pledge card to set up your recurring gift. This year, we invite you to set up your own recurring donation through Calvary’s safe and secure online giving portal. This provides autonomy and confidentiality. You may adjust the amount and frequency of your donation anytime, and update your financial data when it changes (i.e. credit card expiration dates). If you give to Calvary through cash or check or through your retirement account, stock, or donor advised fund—nothing changes for you. Please complete the Sustaining Stewards Commitment Card so we know when to anticipate your gift. How do I set up my recurring donation? It’s quick and easy! Simply follow these steps: 1. Go to Calvary's online giving portal. 2. Type in amount you'd like to give in your recurring donation. 3. click on “Recurring” 4. enter the frequency and start date of your gift Why is giving regularly to Calvary important? Calvary is a congregation-supported church, relying on the generosity of every person for our financial wellbeing and sustainability. Consistent, regular giving ensures that there is stability in Calvary’s income stream, making it easier to budget and plan effectively.
