A Reflection on World Mission Offering by Walter Rowell October 15, 2025 Morgan Fletcher I have been on several mission trips to see, and participate in, the amazingly effective work of American Baptist International Ministries (IM) Global Servants. In Poland, we painted the playground and inside of the Diamond Center, Becky Whitaker led us in a Colorado Day of crafts and games with children, and we visited churches in Poland and the Czech Republic with Mary Hulst and Richard Gutkowski. In Thailand, we saw improved agricultural techniques, and a new water supply in the middle of a small mountain town. We were welcomed into a local man’s house, with missionary Paul Lewis, who had translated the Bible into his language. In Nicaragua we helped build a needed school and mission church in a remote town. And in Arizona we stayed in the homes of adults with disabilities at Rainbow Acres. I have memorable stories from each of these experiences, and more. Our American Baptist IM Global Servants give us, and the communities they serve, a great return on our World Mission Offering dollars. Please join me in giving to support the World Mission Offering this month! Tags: missions and outreach
