Discovering Calvary's Story Together

March 26, 2026 Ru-Lee Weller Passman

What is the story God is telling through Calvary right now? As part of our ongoing vision and discernment process, we are inviting the entire congregation into a new season of listening. This step is not centered on statements or decisions, but on something more meaningful: our shared story. Why do you come to Calvary? What have you experienced here? How would you describe this community to someone who has never walked through our doors?

These are the kinds of questions we will explore in upcoming small group listening sessions. Together, we will reflect on what makes Calvary unique, where we see our values lived out, and how we might more clearly share who we are with others. This is an important step in our journey. Before we consider any future decisions, including how we express our identity publicly, we want to listen deeply to one another and discern what is most true about who we are as a church.

Your voice matters in this process. Not as a vote, but as part of a collective story that is still being written. We hope you will join us. Because the more clearly we understand our story, the more faithfully we can live it and share it with others. Sign up for a small group session with this link to Sign Up Genus. There are in-person meetings on Sundays and virtual Zoom meetings. We want to keep groups from 8-10 people, and registering to attend with many options will help make sure everyone who wants to participate may do so.
