Food Pantry Drive for Jewish Family Service

Calvary, as SNAP benefits are ending November 1 because of the government shutdown, many many Denver folx are struggling to afford groceries. One of our mission partners Jewish Family Service has a regular food pantry open Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.. JFS has told us they could use some extra food pantry donations during this time of increased need.

Please take a look at your pantry or go to your grocery store to find some items listed below. Please ensure they are not expired. 

Non-Perishable Items Only:

• Canned protein (beans, chicken, tuna, etc)
• Canned vegetables
• Pasta
• Pasta sauce
• Oatmeal
• Cereal
• Canned fruit

Items can be dropped off in the labeled laundry basket in the coat room.
