Information from Staff Relations regarding Pastor Anne’s Leave of Absence

You may recall that a leave of absence of a total of 3 months was scheduled for Senior Pastor Anne Scalfaro to support her recovery from the countless hours that she has spent on the recently-completed trial concerning Calvary’s roof, gutters, and HVAC. The first two months were taken in early 2025, with the third month scheduled to follow the trial, which was delayed by the court until last month. It is now time for her to take the remaining month of leave, during which she will focus on renewing her spiritual, emotional, and physical health through rest, reflection, spiritual practices, and spending time with family and friends. She will be gone July 5 – August 2, returning to work on August 3.

During her leave, Pastor Anne will be unavailable by phone, text, or email. Upon her return on August 3, she will delete any emails sent to her during her leave, so she can start with an empty in-box. The same is true for her voicemail at the office. If you have a message that does not require a response but contains important information that  Anne will need to access or have on file upon her return, please send an email to Cindy Schall with the subject: SCALFARO LEAVE OF ABSENCE FILE: Your Subject Line. Cindy will maintain these messages to be shared upon Pastor Anne’s return from leave. Please only make this request for critical topics, and contact others on staff instead whenever possible. We have several more options available now under our new staff structure! Rev. Morgan C. Fletcher of Present Nomads will also be carrying out some of Anne’s responsibilities during this time. There are a number of Deacons who may be able to assist as well.

Thank you for your cooperation in respecting this important time of rest and renewal for both Anne and Damon. We are in wonderful hands with our very capable, creative staff and strong, committed lay leadership!
