The Art of 3D Printing August 12, 2026 Ru-Lee Weller Passman Have you ever wondered how a 3D printer works and what they can create? Now is your chance to find out. Our own Bill Warren will explain and demonstrate how these printers work. Most 3D printers work by extruding a fine bead of plasticized corn-starch layer by layer, gradually creating the object being printed. On August 28th, the Calvary Men's Group meeting we'll be doing a demonstration to show how to design custom objects in FreeCAD, a free computer-aided design program. We'll be creating a Calvary logo. We'll be starting from a blank slate all the way to actually printing out the object. So, everyone, come join us at 11:00 am for lunch, this demonstration and to ask questions of Bill. The cost is $10 for this informative event in fellowship hall. Sign up on Sundays by fellowship hall or through the E-news article.
