Radio-Controlled Aircraft June 9, 2026 Ru-Lee Weller Passman Have you ever thought about learning to fly an airplane but thought it was too expensive and time consuming? There is another option, radio-controlled aircraft. There are airplanes, jets, helicopters and drones and they are either powered by liquid fuel or battery. Come join the men’s group as we explore the world of radio-controlled aircraft at the Suhaka Field at Cherry Creek State Park. We will get to see firsthand the aircraft up close, learn how they are built, how they work and see them in flight. Then for lunch, we will be heading to Centennial Airport to the Lions Club hamburger stand which will cost each person $10 to $15. We will meet at Calvary at 10:15 am to carpool, leaving at 10:30 am on Friday June 26th. So come join us for an outing with altitude!
