I am thrilled to have begun my work at Calvary and I've had the great pleasure of leading the music in my first service on August 19. I'm eager to begin working with the choir but I want to first reach out to all of you who may have sung in the past or who may have thought about it but couldn't muster up the courage, or to those of you who simply want to start singing and be part of the music ministry. My hope is to grow our choir as it continues to nourish the hearts and souls of our congregants. Knowledge of music notation is a plus but not required - just a good ear, a strong commitment, and a love of singing for the glory of God. And if you are not able to join the choir now but know of someone who may be interested, please let me know. We rehearse on Thursday evenings from 7-8:30 pm, starting August 30.
