We are grateful to be reengaging our congregational care ministry team! The current ministry team is growing in focus from what we had during 2020 & 2021. The three areas of focus for this ministry team are:

Congregational Contact – each ministry team member working on this area of focus will have a section of the church directory and will reach out to each member several times a year.

Lay Leader Care Response – each ministry team member working on this area will assist pastors and staff when a request comes to the church office with a church member needing a ride to an appointment/church/small group, groceries picked up, or meal train created among other things that may come up. The team members will be the ones to reach out to other church members who have said they would like to help drive, do grocery runs, or share the meal train.

Follow-up Visits – each ministry team member working on this area will join the pastoral team in making follow-up visits to congregation members who have recently had surgery or those who would like to have someone to touch base with after meeting with a pastor on a pastoral care matter. We currently do not have anyone overseeing the Stephen Ministers ministry so this will be similar to the roles they held.
